Please remember that though the nights are getting lighter, to wear your Hi Viz jackets still (yellow or pink jackets) its still very easy for riders to be missed by car drivers, as both a rider and a driver often because I know the roads that the riders take I am more alert, but other drivers arent.

Also remember to thank car drivers, many do not understand that you may need to give a rider on a horse as much room as another car, so its about educating them. But as a driver there is nothing worse when you have given room for the rider to completley ignore you, if you cant remove a hand from a rein then a verbal thank you, a nod of the head is better than ignorance. And your behaviour might affect how that car driver behaves next time.
